FIBROBLAST REJUVENATION THERAPY
FIBROBLAST REJUVENATION THERAPY
Thanks to recent advances in regenerative medicine and cell therapy, cultivation and injection of different types of stem cells, which have been obtained from our own body, is now possible.
Fibroblasts are cells that are present in the skin, and are responsible for producing certain substances, such as collagen, elastin and other growth factors, which provide the structure and vitality of the skin.

The fibroblast injection process is carried out in several steps:
Skin Sampling
- This is accomplished by taking a small sample of the patient's skin, which is immediately sent to the tissue bank for specialized procedures.
Fibroblast Culture
- This is carried out in special culture mediums that promote the growth of fibroblasts. This process can take 15 to 20 days.
Sample Preparation
- Once the culture has advanced and there is a sufficient number of fibroblasts, these are usually mixed with plasma extracted from the same patient, so they are ready for their application.
Injection
- Fibroblasts are applied by injecting them into the patient's own skin, in all the selected areas of the body. This procedure is performed at the doctor's office, and takes approximately 30 minutes.
FIBROBLAST INJECTION BENEFITS
- It is ideal for achieving skin revitalization in the face, hands and neck areas.
- Wrinkles and fine lines around the eyelids and lips can be significantly improved.
- Improving the appearance of acne-scarred skin.
- Finally, Dr. Perez injects fibroblasts into the evolving wounds of some plastic surgery procedures, in order to accelerate and improve the healing process.
