NECK AND CHEEK HAMMOCK LIFT
NECK AND CHEEK HAMMOCK LIFT
The soft tissue structure of the cheeks and neck has a distribution that resembles a hammock that stretches from one side of the face to the other.
The facial aging process causes this facial hammock to progressively sag, generating important changes in the appearance and definition of the cheeks and neck.

OUR HAMMOCK LIFT TECHNIQUE
Signs of facial aging become progressively visible and the age of onset is largely related to hereditary and lifestyle factors of each individual and not just age.
Some of the signs that make a patient suitable for a Hammock Cheek and Neck Lift are:
- Loss of facial outline due to lowering and sagging of the cheeks.
- The appearance of a neck that looks poorly defined and with poor angulation is secondary to excess skin and sagging of the neck muscle.

HAMMOCK LIFT IS A VERSATILE TECHNIQUE
One of the great advantages of the Cheeks and Neck Hammock Lift technique is that it can be perfectly adapted to the needs of each patient. This is how Dr. Perez handles two versions of this technique:
Hammock mini-lift
This technique is ideal for young patients who already have moderate signs of sagging of the cheeks and neck. It is performed using a small incision located just in the area behind the ears.
Extended Hammock Lift
This technique is performed on older patients with severe cheeks and neck sagging. It is performed by an incision in both the anterior and posterior areas of the ears. Dr. Perez often also removes excess fat and wrinkles or lines around the anterior neck region through a small incision located under the chin.
IMPERCEPTIBLE INCISIONS
Dr. Perez plans and makes the incisions necessary to perform the Hammock Lift in such a way that he conceals them completely within the furrows and curves of the ears, making them almost invisible to the human eye. Usually, these incisions are practically unnoticeable after 2 months.

What To Expect After Surgery
Mild to moderate swelling of the cheeks and neck area is normal, bruising or hematomas are rare.
This swelling usually clears up considerably after the first 4 days.
How Long Can The Results Of A Hammock Lift Last
Due to the fact that in this technique a vertical suspension and anchoring of soft tissues to fixed and resistant points of the face is carried out, the results can be said to be long-lasting, on average 10 to 12 years. However, certain variables such as genetics and lifestyle should be taken into account.
