OUR EXCELLENT RESULTS

ANESTHESIA
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and lasts between 2 to 3 hours.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SURGERY?
Inflammation: It is normal to have noticeable postoperative swelling during the first 7 days. Breast Support: The permanent use of a postoperative bra is essential, in order to provide comfort and support for the breasts. Activity: Avoid strenuous physical activities during the first 10 days. Disability: Most patients will be able to start working after the 3rd postoperative day. Rest: We recommend sleeping and remaining in a semi-sitting position at about 30 degrees of inclination, in order to help the de-inflammatory process.
ARE THE RESULTS LONG TERM?
The long-term outcome of this procedure is good, but it is dependent on factors, such as skin quality, breast volume and the occurrence of events such as pregnancies or significant weight loss. Dr. Perez recommends the use of breast support, both day and night, in order to help counteract the effect of gravity on the breasts.
CAN SYMMETRICAL BREASTS BE ACHIEVED?
A significant percentage of patients who consult Dr. Perez have a greater or lesser degree of breast asymmetry. One of the objectives to be achieved with the Pexy – Breast Lift procedure, is to achieve the greatest symmetry possible.
IS BREAST SENSITIVITY LOST?
Although it is one of the possible risks during a breast surgery, Dr. Perez performs techniques that fully preserve the sensitivity, especially in the areola and the nipple. Although it is normal that, during the first few weeks after surgery, there is some degree of decreased sensitivity.
ARE THE NIPPLES REMOVED DURING SURGERY?
The nipples are not removed, they are moved up to their ideal position by bringing them higher.
